Fear said she was personally against it but certainly wouldn't want to tell the town what to do. Linn said pretty much the same thing, adding that he didn't like to see a roadblock (my words) thrown up instead of a solution. But then he went on to say there is no good way to solve this problem we've been struggling with for six years. Cramer seemed to accept that Pinedale's action was about the only way to force the issue and get industry and BLM off dead center, since they're the players with the most power and resources.<br />Interesting points raised:<br />Will Pinedale's ordinance only move the traffic/safety problem from our streets to somewhere else, and is that bad?<br />Shouldn't BLM and industry try to <span style="font-style: italic;">reduce</span> traffic as well as divert it?<br /></span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/18877295-116112132004119522?l=wyopolis.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Pam Currynoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18877295.post-1161119329128288782006-10-17T14:59:00.000-06:002006-10-17T15:13:27.450-06:00Things are happening so fast in Sublette County none of us is able to keep up. If only we could figure out a way to get the word out fast about all the meetings, notifications, comment periods, rumors, etc., we might even be able to stay a little bit ahead.<br /><br />This blog is meant to test the waters to see how much participation we can rustle up. A blog is a great forum for discussion and feedback but not so great for organization. We'll need a web site if we want to do it right.
